There has been a lot of confusion among the candidates regarding the status message shown while tracking the application.
There are two status messages that are displayed when a candidate tracks his application
- The status of your application : Passport received at Consulate General of Canada on dd/mm/yyyy and is under processing.
What does this mean ?
This status messages means that your application has been received on said date and it under process.
Then comes the second status message. A candidate will get this message regardless his/her case is approved or rejected.
- The status of your application : Passport has been dispatched through Courier vide Airway Bill #: XXXXX on dd/mm/yyyy. You can also track your passport Status by visiting the website: www.bluedart.com. Incase of Hold Passport: Your Passport has been held on Request at OC Chandigarh OC.
What does this mean ?
The tracking system do not provide the info whether the via has been granted or denied. So this message means that the application has been processed and is dispatched to the addresses provided by you in the application form. If you are availing the services of a consultant than passport will be sent to the consultant office.
Incase of Hold Passport: Your Passport has been held on Request at OC Chandigarh OC
This line means that in case your address is not service-able by the courier company than you have to collect the passport from the OC (Officer in Charge) at the Canadian Consulate where the application was submitted.
Well i wish that tracking system should provide the that information whether the visa is granted or not other wise candidates have to spend sleepless night as i did when status of my application changed.
i have applied under normal procedure on 21-july-1010 and i confirmed the status 22-july-2010 application recieved at delhi , today on 27-july-2010 i rechecked Passport has been dispatched , i am worried does a normal application takes 5 days ? please help

The notification message is same whether the candidate is getting medical call/approval/refusal. This message says that the passport is on its way. The status of the application will be known once you get the passport and open it.

They just reject the cases for the ppl who have heart diseases or some deadly diseases that can risk the canadians there. If all the documents are authentic then there are 90% chances that you will get the visa. Having good IELTS scores makes the think more positive so dont worry you will be getting the visa soon. Got my loan sanctioned for a 2-year program called “health, wellness, and fitness” at Mohawk college which is of 8.35 lacs; paid my first semester college fees out of my own pocket instead of bank loan (about 2.54 lacs), have available funds of about 2-3 lacks in my mother’s and my account.
i filed my visa application on 12th and on 15th the status message was “passport received and being processed”.

If the embassy processes your application within 10-11 days does that mean you probably got the visa. They have already mailed my passport, and I am going to go pick it up tomorrow. I had gotten the medical done in advance and I never got any telephone enquiries. I am really worried.

i have submitted my SPP file without medical…..my agent is saying that u will get the medical call……………one of my friend got visa under SPP without submitting medical…means he have’nt got the medical call.n now he is not going for medical n preparing to move canada,,,,
can u tell me is medical is necessary even my friend is worried that he don’t get any problem on reaching canada….in d immigration check regarding medical
bcoz if the immigration officer asks for medical documents then he will not have that documents…

You need not to worry as the embassy will be clearing all the files for jan intake may be in this coming week becoz they are left with few working days only in dec. within which they have to clear all the pending files. So u dont worry u ll be getting ur result most probably in the coming week. Be positive.

If you check out the VFS site they have written over there that any applications submitted after Dec 1 for Jan session are not bond to be processed by the CHC. So either apply early or keep fingers crossed till the last moment.

Its listed on the VFS site that VFS is might not be able to process the files which were submitted late. Although they have listed that the processing takes 15 days but in most of the cases ppl get first response in 20+ days

If your classes are starting from 10 then you have one more week to report to college. Well i am not sure about the status of the visa. There is a lot of rush there at CHC so no one knows if they will be able to process the applications or not

I jsut dont want to demoralize you but they simple refuse the visa. So it is strongly recommended to file the case well with in advance. Some guys file the cases in october for january session.

Dont worry you about this. Your Passport has been dispatched. If you have applied through an agent then you can collect the PP from them otherwise it will reach at your postal address in next 2 days.

hello sir ,i got refused today after 35 days,reason of refusal is study mismatch,i ve done non medical ,n i select software development and network engineering in sheridan which is related with non medical,so i want to know why they refused my case,now i m pursuing b.sc in hotel management 2nd year.can i apply for may intake and which course i should select,pls advice me i m very frustrated.

There is no any sort of consistency being shown by the CHC in such type of refusal. I know a guy who was rejected first time but in the second attempt he was granted the visa for the same program he choose earlier. Yes you can apply for May intake.

My visa file include my offer letter (Global business management- humber college), Iets score (7.5 band), graduation marksheets and degree( Business management- IP univ. 59.3% 2007-2010), loan sanction letter( 10 lakh), financial summary (parental income- 509000 and loan evaluation), 1st semester fees paid from my personal expenses( money from matured bonds- 270000), medical papers. I ve followed the Spp checklist religiously.
My consultants are Canam. I had surveyed that they are good for canada. one more thing my maternal grandfather is serving as the guarantor for the loan.
Please tell me that do i ve any error or flaw in my file. Please help. i ve applied for may intake.

I ve applied for visa and its been 20 days now but i haven’t received any response from CHC. I had chosen canam consultants to help me out with my process. I ve applied for the may intake. Its been 20 days now and vfs site is showing that my file is under process. Can you tell me that does my fille has any error. Please reply

Your case is a perfect one. Dont panic you will get your visa. The visa process can take upto 6 weeks

admin i applied for may batch on 29 march and today as i can see the application has been processed……how its dispatched so fast…..reply sooooooooooonnnnnnnnn
and i have been rejected for jan batch….from sep rejected case can not apply under spp …don kno bout may!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same is the case with MAY session you will not be able to apply under SPP
